I either had to start losing weight or buy new clothes. At 100 lbs less I felt better and had more energy, so the goal I set was to lose 100 lbs. My doctor told me I had high blood pressure and that also made me want to lose weight. I’ve lost 40 lbs and am working on my next 60 lbs.
I meal prep and make South Beach style meals. I increased my water too. When I competed in my companies November Rolling Strong competition I created healthy ways that I continued after the competition. My tips to other drivers are to meal prep. I was surprised at how many fast food restaurants don’t offer salads. It’s just about impossible to have a sit down meal at a truck stop. The majority have gone to fast food. Food prepping is the way to go.
